The key to the bet is the draw they get a team like ODU matches up well with certain type of teams. The better their record the higher the seed the better the chance to win 2 games, if they win one there might be a nice hedge on game 2 ML favorite vs ODU.

Hate to burst your bubble, but I highly doubt even Shrink would take them at these odds.

There is MORE than a small chance, I'd estimate at least a 1 in 3 chance that they don't even get in. That is, they lose the CAA tourney (which if memory serves correct is on VCU's home floor), and don't get an at-large bid. With their strength of schedule and the face the CAA is WEAK with a capital W this year, it would not surprise me one bit.
They are Utah St. all over again.

That being said, I hope they win the CAA and make the tourney as they are by FAR the most deserving Colonial team this year and it would be a shame having to see them play Ga. Southern or someone like that in the NIT.
