Pick'n-Play Season Thread

Well hello again everyone! I have been on a several month hiatous from the wonderful RX forum and am glad to be back. I actually took some time off from capping the last few months to focus more on my career and my upcoming wedding. Now that everything is balanced back out and the fact that football season is upon us.. I have decided to rejoin the ranks of my capper brothers.

I am going to run this season thread to ensure that all my picks are logged and there is no question on my record. I do this more for myself than anything else but would like comments and suggestions as well.

I will post for the first week just my picks with no write-ups. My credibility is at 0 currently so I figure my write-ups will mean nothing until I prove myself. Anyways, here goes:

Week 1:

Early games:

Well ran into a serious rush on Saturday and most of today and was unable to post anything. Anyways, the lines are out and I see a few that really grab my attention.

1. USC -6 1/2 vs. Ohio State
2. Syracuse +28 1/2 vs. Penn State
3. Texas -33 vs. Wyoming
4. Navy -7 vs. Louisiana Tech
5. UAB -11 Vs. SMU
6. Texas Tech -26 vs. Rice

Just early leans thus far.

One for tomorrow though:

Florida St. -6 1/2 vs. Miami Fla

Big win tonight on Clemson and it wasn't even a sweat. Gotta love games like that. Anyways, big plays coming this weekend!

One going down tonight:

Colorado vs. Toledo Over 55 *2 unit play

Colorado showed signs of a rally in the second half last week and I think it will definitely carry over into this game. Toledo has a pretty weak run defense and Colorado does have one of the best running backs around... just no one to block for him. So, put this together and we should have some points. Now, Toledo has a high powered passing offense and Colorado has a very weak pass defense so I am thinking many points as well. I am not sure who will win this game but I guarantee you that one of the sides will have 40 plus points.

I just can't see Alabama running away with it this far. I think if Alabama gets up by 3 touchdowns they will just take it easy on them and save theirselves for the real games down the road.

That was the absolute worse Saturday in my life.. Good thing I killed it in NFL though!
