all i'm saying is in past 11 years each of the teams who covered in the super bowl has covered all their playoff games reaching the super bowl. so if this holds true CAROLINA will cover against the spread.

are you sure the giants were +7 against the bills in 1991? that's pregambling days for me but that doesn't seem right.

I memory serves that game was around -2.5 Bills. Regardless, thanks for the info Ted, good stuff.

My pleasure Wil. You do a great job and I enjoy helping whenever I can.

I've been lucky enough to have seen all 37 Superbowls and have information on all of them. The answer to the question is yes, the Giants were +7.

The Giants were definitely +7, because I loved the NFC getting a TD in this spot, just due to the NFC(physical) over the AFC(finesse) dominance that was happening in this era.

Besides the G-Men had come to far to not win it, as they had beaten a proud 49ers in Candlestick(I lost that one)..they had me sold now!

Plus they both being from the same state, meant that there was a bit of familiarity in closing the gap for the dog(I believe they had scrimmaged in preseasons back then also?).

I always bet against the Bills in the SB's..yep the full 7 was available there & then.

After looking at those spreads, I think more than one are off (most by 1 point) because I remember getting better spreads than those.

Giants were +7 for sure.

I can't believe Miami was +1.5 VS Washington, wasn't that the year they went unbeaten?
