Benson likely out for season. Snag Peterson if you can -- as a Bears fan I honestly think he is the better back and will show it. Plus, the Bears have been scoring a lot more lately...

He's pretty small though, I thought more of a change of pace? Do they have anyone behind him to steal carries or take over?

The backup is Garret Wolfe who is a tiny dude too if I remember correctly. Peterson should get the majority of the carries and be active in the passing game. Similar to Thomas Jones this year for the Jets, but not quite as valuable. A RB2 in deep leagues or RB3 in most others.

Yes. Wolfe is even smaller than Peterson. Peterson reminds me of Marion Barber -- he's not the biggest dude, but REALLY tough.

I picked up Peterson and dropped Mike Furrey in the fantasy league we created here. My team now stands:

QB:

Kurt Warner
Jon Kitna
Jay Cutler

RB:

Brandon Jacobs
Jesse Chatman
Ryan Grant
Clinton Portis
Frank Gore
Adrian Peterson
Kevin Jones
Warrick Dunn

WR:

Anquan Boldin
Reggie Wayne
Roddy White

TE:

Tony Gonzalez

K:

Shayne Graham

DEF:

Patriots

That, my friends, is how you improve your team with trades and FA pickups throughout the season.

My first few picks in this draft (because autopick crap screwed up) were:

Torry Holt
Carson Palmer
Thomas Jones
Anquan Boldin
Deuce McCallister
Carnell Williams

It could have gotten ugly.
