I know I'm going to the PGA even on Thursday here in Vegas so would drive down Friday for the evening game.

I suspect that you're right. I got a block of tickets last night behind 1st base(high) off the Dbacks web site. It's a different story in Denver...pure insanity over the Rockies.

Damn, what a kick ass poker "room" (auditorium would be a better description).

Nothing like 45 poker tables beneath 9 mammoth big screens that are along the top of the wall\base of the roof.

Cleared about a benji playing 8/16. Pretty worthless game-given the hands and boards that I was getting, I now know why I play limit.

It's nothing but 10/150 tomorrow night. Should be an AWESOME place to watch the Rockies-Dbacks game. Let me know if any of you locals\visitors are going to be that way tomorrow night. I can't believe the freakin business that room gets, but it's apparently "the" Phoenix poker room.

:lol: I'm actually down here for work(been in a techy training class the last two days). The Rockies being down here was a comical coincidence. Not quite as comical as walking through the hotel lobby and seeing someone checking out the site & taking notes.
