It maybe the exception but a few of my associates claim they are in the "red " from football . They tell me the Phila Eagles are covering machines and they're losing money almost every week .Are these claims believable ? Are the Books really taking it on the chin this year due to so many favorites covering ? or is it just in Philly or is it nation wide ? Just curious and would love some feedback !

Everything you wrote is true about the guys I know in Philly, don't think so elsewhere though,

toss in not only Iggle's damage via sides, but they have been going fav/over too a nice start by the sixers/flyers and a couple dogs in the recent big 5 hoop games.

anyway I cannot wait to call one ofmy guys up and ask for a Philly Soul line, you know if they're going to be playing arena ball here next year the degens will be calling looking for numbers.

LOL The Soul...You mean the Philly Bon Jovi's salt?

But I agree...though the locals I know here are getting some of it back in the NBA and Temple's lackluster start has helped too. Philly college hoops in general has been a little weak to start.

I Guess some books really do get Killed . However, It's just a matter of time till the Dogs start covering and the locals get their money back . But if your a book in Philly ,You probably want to see McNabb break his other leg ... or wait till the "SOUL" kickoff their season .

locals always dread the hometown favorite covering................but thats nothing new..

normally i dont believe in laying action off.......

but being heavy on one team week after week, makes it easy to manage.........
