I see a lot of people like Philadelphia tonight. I think people need to take a closer look at Arizona. Sure they are 0-3 on the East Coast this season but look at who they have played.
NY Jets (Maybe best team in AFC; great at home; 8-3)
Carolina (Top team in NFC; 8-3)
Washington (Playoff team in NFC; 7-4)

Lost to Giants at home (Best team in NFL; 10-1)

All 4 teams have winning records and are among the Top 10 teams in the NFL. Philly is not. They are a .500 team at best who lost to Baltimore lw and tied Cinci (1 win) the last 2 weeks. There is dissension in Philly right now. Arizona has a chance to win their 1st division title of any kind since 1975 tonight. They don't want to back into it. They want to win it on the field. Arizona may struggle at times tonight as Arizona is not a strong road team but looking at this line, I feel if bookmakers had supreme confidence in Philly, this line would be above a fg favorite. Fact is Arizona is the better team. I think it will be harder for Eagles to prepare for Arizona offense on short rest than it will be for Arizona to go cross country in this situation. Arizona will want to show people out East on national tv what they are missing out west. Cardinals defense is much improved. McNabb is not playing well. Neither is LJ Smith or Westbrook due to injuries. They put an missing persons out on Kevin Curtis and Desean Jackson. Philly played its best ball this year actually when Buckhalter was power running. Dansby will shadow Westbrook all night and force Donavan to beat them. This is his swan song. Cardinals will win a close one tonight to win NFC West and first division title since 1975.

You know I am an Eagle fan to the max, but if Samuels doesn't play, then the Eagles are in trouble...add an injured Westbrooke to the mix and the Eagles are doomed...

I am betting against my team, but not too much....

I think Arizona dominates this game throughout. No reason to not take Zona plus the points here.

Kojak, I just finished placing my bet. Philadelphia ML @-160. I think that lately I'm about 6-15. I'll take the Eagles at home and I've always liked McNabb at QB. I've been watching Warner and somehow he seems like he barely gets the ball off before coverage breaks down. He hangs in there and I'm surprised at how many passes he completes in those situations. Guess that I'll be looking for more pressure on Warner and hopefully that will lead to some TO's and sacks. That's where my money is going tonight, on the home team. Good Luck!!!!! :103631605 alwatts

I'm liking the Arizona +1 1st half, +3 game, teasing Cards +11 and over 40.5, might even lay a little on the money line..

Historically when McNabb has gone through a funk and the chips are as far down as they can be he comes out and plays a great game. Expect a big game from McNabb tonight which should be plenty to cover the 3.
Good luck.

Lifelong Eagles fan here. When McNabb is bad he is very, very bad. I can't back Philly & McNabb until he shows a little something.

Arizona is +3 EVEN and I'm taking it.

Why Philly?
AZ on the road
Philly backed into a corner
Philly @ home
McNabb career in Philly in jeopardy
Reids job in Philly could also be in jeopardy
Pressure could get to Warner

Why AZ?
Top WR core
Philly in a down spin
NFC West title within their grasp
Philly pressure leaves underacheiving secondary out on an island

Too close to call. Could see a fg game either way but the over looks great. McNabb should come out gunning. AZ should take full advantage of Philly secondary. While Philly pass rush/blitz is still solid, they are not the same as in seasons past. But if they do get to Warner, it could turn into points since Warner WILL turn the ball over.

The only problem with taking the over this late is that it is now 49.5. Got it at 47 this morning.

I was looking at the ESPN Streak for the Cash and almost everybody in the top leaderboard has the Cards to beat the Eagles tonight.

Arizona clearly did not show up for this one. Boldin and Warner were flat out awful! Cards have a paper defense outside of Arizona. This team will lose on the road if not at home in playoffs. Believe they will likely win home game but no chance on the road at likely Giants or Tampa/Atlanta/Carolina.
