this is a complete homer statement so please excuse me....

but the phills also have momentum going into this post season, in fact the dodgers got lucky running into the chokago cubs and i can only hope they play this series over confident and quickly go down 0-2 headed back to hollywood.

pitching beats hitting, plus we have a God (Manny)

Enjoy God (Manny) while you can, because that boy is going to run for the hills when the Dodgers aren't the high bidder in the Manny Sweep Stakes. I think the Phillies have a pretty good shot in this series.

I think its funny how LA fans can jump between teams like its nobodies business. Half the clowns were Angels fans, and now they have jumped ship to Manny and Co. They would have jumped to the Clippers if Kobe would have taken the deal. Thats the biggest problem with LA, all these people are such homers for teams they dont even care about. Imagine a Yankees fan turning to the Mets or a Cubs fan suddenly wearing Black and White. Id rather see the Philly fans get their team to the World Series. I hate LA.

Go Phillies!

yeah pitching does beat hitting especially when you play the padres,d backs, and giants 60 times a year, cause anyone can look good against those line ups.

:think2: last i checked the reason the dodgers are even here are because they picked up a HITTER, to spark the offense.

like i said who ever wins a road game wins the series, other than that should be phillies series to take.

The Mets collapsed only really helped Milwaukee, not Philly. NY might have won the division over the Phillies, but Philadelphia would still have gotten in with the wildcard and gotten the Cubs in the first round.

dodgers have to be the play here. their pitching staff is significantly better than philly's, and at the same time its not as if the dodgers dont have a good batting order....they're seeing the ball really well right now.

the cubs might be chokers, but they still have a good pitching staff that got its ass handed to them by a good batting order.

LA should roll here
