My thoughts are that the team that scores the most runs will win the game......LOL

Hiroki Kuroda dominated the Phillies just 10 days ago, striking out seven while allowing zero walks, one run and just two hits. Kuroda has been a boom-or-bust pitcher this season, but with the Phillies having struggled to hit all month, it's hard to see things going too differently in the rematch.

I think the Phils escape with a W tonight.

Could be an 7-6 game, but I do believe they will be able to pull it out.

liking the Phillies since the Mets lost this afternoon. Team will seize on the opportunity to get closer in the standings. Dodgers /D'backs race will stand pat.

What kind of logic is that? Both teams are in contested races. ARI lost today too. You don't think LAD is looking at that?

yes but, Kuroda is just 2-7 on the road and I look for the Phills to win one unit on the Phills

Los Angeles has five hits in each of its last three games, leading to six runs

Ramirez hopes to get things turned around , as he's batting .609 (14-for-23) with a homer and a double lifetime versus scheduled starter Joe Blanton

In his previous outing on Aug. 13 at Dodger Stadium, Blanton allowed nine hits - including two homers - in Philadelphia's 7-6 loss. He is 1-0 with a 4.15 ERA in two career starts versus Los Angeles.

Kuroda opened August in stellar fashion, going 2-0 with a 1.21 ERA in his first three starts, yielding one run in each outing. The Japanese right-hander was not as sharp on Tuesday, as he allowed four runs and six hits in six innings of an 8-3 loss to Colorado.

Kuroda looks to regain the dominance that he had in his previous start against the Phillies on Aug. 14, when he gave up one run and two hits with seven strikeouts in seven innings of a 3-1 victory

not really using logic more of a hunch watching how the races leads have flip-flopped in the east and the Dodgers have yet to pass the D'backs. Phillies have a more balanced line-up imo. Dodgers do have the better Starter going hence the small dog line on the road.
