IT IS TRUE -Soriano has been heating up. However he has not proven that he can put together a sustained hitting streak in 09. Phillys just seem to be in the zone and playing at home against a less than impressive cub team has me going heavy on The Phils--gl sir and may the best team win!!!!!!!!

Lilly was scratched from his start in Washington because he has experienced knee pain his last 2 starts. That said, I don't think his poor outing is due to that pain but rather to the fact that he hasn't pitched in 10 days and just did not have command of the strike zone tonight. The Phillies made him pay for all his mistakes.
