I was on the over. Samardzija is a gascan so you knew he would get rocked, and with Pedro being away for so long you had to think he would be a bit rusty.

In an unrelated note, can you imagine being Samardzija? The guy had a certain NFL career, but he rolled the dice and went with baseball. I'd be very shocked if he's still in the majors 2 years from now. The guy just isn't a major league pitcher IMO. If that does end up happening, that would be a tough pill to swallow. I hope for his sake he can turn it around, but I doubt that will happen.

yep, security threw out the the wrong guy, the guy that threw the beer was wearing a plain white tshirt and had a hat on, this guy they threw out was wearing a jersey and no hat.
