This is my biggest future bet of the season, but I'm not worried at all. Phoenix suffering through some injuries, they will get it back. It's always tough when you are missing both Mueller and Hanzal from the lineup.

Let's say they lose tonight against Dallas. Phoenix would have 27 games left with 53 points.

Good news:

They play,
St Louis 3 times
L.A. 3 times
Nashville twice
Islanders, Atlanta, and Colorado once each.

Lets give them the benefit of the doubt and say they go 6-3-2 in those games. That gives them 67 points...they would need 16 more playing:

San Jose 3 times
Anaheim 3 times
Vancouver and Edmonton twice each

They also have single games versus:
Calgary
Boston
Buffalo
Detroit
New Jersey
Dallas

They would need to go 7-7-2 against those teams to reach 83 points.

I'm worried.

well 1-0 win at Dallas sure helps the cause.

28 points now needed in 27 games. somewhat less worried. :toast:

great win, of course this is by far a lock at this point, but lets hope things will turn around for our coyotes from this point on.

Im looking for a sweep on all my regular season props, and this one has me the most worried currently.

I've got confidence in the Coyotes. I'm much more worried about my Turco > Fleury in GAA prop bet.

Let's not forget how well Phoenix did in their own division last year... I look for at least a point per game average in their six games against SJ/Ana.

ok where are we now?

57 points in 59 games.

26 points needed in final 23 games.

Next four games are against non-playoff teams. Despite 3 of those games being on the road, 5 points would be really nice to get.

8 of next 9 on the road... which features an Eastern swing and some really tough teams.

After that, 9 out of 14 final games are at home.

It's gonna be tough, but if they can hang in on the road they will have a decent schedule to end the year.

What a crazy schedule. With 23 games left more than half are against 4 teams. 3 each versus St L, L.A., S.J., and Anaheim.

Providing they make it close there will be hedging opportunities by backing St Louis, (3rd game from the end of the season, in Phoenix), or taking Anaheim at Phx in the final game.

I like the idea of playing San Jose twice in their last eight games. San Jose might be coasting by then...

I'm concerned with who will be left on the Phoenix roster after the March 4th trade deadline.

Big game in LA 2day.

On another note those damn Blackhawks still have me worried about my detroit future.

They never lose, is making me sick.

I can't see them making up 10 points against Detroit with 20 something games remaining. However, they do finish the season with a home and home against the Wings. No matter what you're getting your monies worth out of that wager.

Relax.

This Red Wing 09' version is even better than the 08' prototype.

I read somewhere the other day that their PP is clicking at a pace that has not been matched in the last 20 years.

The entered the playoffs last season with Chris Osgood and a 43 year old Dominik Hasek. And although their numbers don't show it to this point, their goaltending is better than last season with the addition of Conklin.
Remember...Marion Hossa passed up all that money to come here to win a cup. They won't let him down.

Bushay, what about the Sharks? Looks like they might get home ice and the Sharks are 2-1 vs the Wings this year, both wins coming at home.
