After getting out of the Army, I went back to school in the early 70’s, where many of my fellow grad students had been radicalized by the war in Vietnam. They exhibited suspicion and hatred for many American institutions, which verged on a level of paranoia which made them sound like raving lunatics. Looking over this thread very strongly reminded me of them.
