The key group for 2012 election is where obama is gaining. Everytime Romney or Santorum talk it just gets better for Obama.

Obama with an 8 point lead over Romney, 10 points over Santorum and 18 points over Newt.

That stupid trend willie keeps using about unemployment rate and re-election going down in flames. Trends are for losers.

I'm thinkin willie will use #4 on the repub excuse list when obama wins.

4) Obama and his admin fudged the unemployment and economic numbers and voters fell for it.

Seems like him. Kid has no clue it's over. Funny how he didn't take me up on loser leaves or any other bet. Wonder why.

Calling the election in February? Okay. It doesn't matter who wins, they're all in it for themselves and any talk about caring for the middle class and lower is all bullshit.

I agree. Always have said both sides suck. We have a choice and I go with the one that sucks less.

Obama's beat downs are going to get progressively worse, his words, his policies, his lies, his failures, his lies, his promises and his lies will be on the airways 24/7, and they'll be plenty of money to pay for his ass kicking

there will be no place to hide, only losers will be supporting this loser

Reps at +181 is a good bet; at some point, most likely right afer the Repub convention, a scalp will be available. As far as the election, it'll come down to the economy; if the stock market goes up and the unemployment rate goes down (which they probably will) Obama will win by about the same margin as in 2008, maybe a little less.

BO's natural constituency of the blacks, muslims, unions, non-taxpayers & the intellectual wannabees is not quite enough
to get him a second term.
Obama does have an innate ability of persuasion to sugar coat his crappy ideas & policies. He's hoping that this gift of his
can bring the simple minded into his camp, it's a possibility.

Early on I bet the Republicans at +165 I thought it was a sure thing. When Perry caved & Newt started his vendetta & the silliness of the debates were beginning to take hold on Dec 14 I got cold feat & took Obama at +100 so I still got a scalp no matter who wins.

I really feel if Santorum gets the nomination Obama will win easily!

Witless Willie will be caught unawares right up to the very end. People don't seem to realize that even if the economy goes down-which, at this point, seems unlikely-the Repubs have fucked up so badly that they would receive just as much blame, if not more, than the Deems, and an incumbent is usually like the champ in boxing-you gotta beat him by plenty to win a decision. People also underestimate, or ignore, just how vulnerable whoever emerges from that party is going to be head to head. But, they'll find out soon enough...

6 in 10 Catholics disapprove of Obama

http://campaign2012.washingtonexaminer.com/blogs/beltway-confidential/6-10-catholics-disapprove-obama/374661

There goes the Catholic vote. Nearly four years after President Obama won 54 percent of Catholic voters, their support has plummeted to just 40 percent in the first poll conducted after he imposed a new birth control mandate on employers, including Catholic agencies.

In a new Rasmussen poll, 59 percent of Catholics now disapprove of the president's job. Rasmussen reports that 44 percent strongly disapprove. About 40 percent at least somewhat approve of Obama's job.

Looking good, President Failure, looking good. :103631605

since dave brought up the catholic thingy i have a question

it was reported that 95% of catholics surveyed responded that they have used contraception in their lifetime and 90% say it's their choice, not the Catholic church's, to decide if they will/won't use contraception

so then WHY would these surveying agencies try to link Obama's lessening support among Catholics with the birth control mandate? Seems like they're just pulling news out of their ass unless they think the majority of Catholics are hypocrites...doh!

For the uninformed of country I will attempt to explain. It has nothing to do with Catholics using birth control as many do.

The mandate that Catholic institutions must pay for health insurance that includes birth control goes against the churches teachings which makes said mandate unconstitutional.

Many believe it’s an assault on religious liberty, religious freedom and the First Amendment.

It’s another attempt by the administration dictate what a person must do.

The same principles apply here that apply to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act which will be ruled on by the Supreme Court later this year.

Now, I have no use for religion in general and Catholicism in particular but I am very much apposed to social engineering which is exactly what President Failure and his merry band of liars are attempting.

The First Amendment was written into the Constitution for a reason and it’s what separates us from being a third world dictatorship.
