Polonia Warszawa POL2 v Tobol Kostanay KZK
The Khazakstanis (home of the very alluring Irina Tulyaganova) to go on to the next round. Odds? Around 15, I would think.

Brno CZE3 v Kotayk Abovyan ARM
The Czechs from Brno - where they also make a rather potent alcoholic brew - have arranged to play a match on the date of the return leg and it's not against Kotayk Abovyan. Let's assume then that they have a less than concerted interest in the intertototincup and pile it all heavily on the Armenians.

Tanzania-Benin
And in case the nights are long and the days are cold lets take Benin at 2.50 or thereabouts.

That's it. Out.

Ducks? Did you keep a copy of the competition rules, by any chance?

Pete,

No, I'm afraid I don't have a copy of the contest rules. Are you thinking of anything in particular?

Good luck with your Toto-picks

In complete egotistical mode I was wondering when the competition ended and when I should put in my sprint for the line......

Partizan Tirana (Albania) v Maccabi Netanya (Israel
Lets take the home win at evens.
The Albs to beat the Netanyahas.

I just have to add guys, that winning these bets may be easier than finding the book that will take them.

The contest ends when the Spanish Primera Division ends (Which is Sunday 22nd June)

I'll post the updated standings tomorrow so you'll know when to put in your "sprint for the line".

Good luck, buddy

Having been away for quite a while I didn't realise that edits to one's messages didn't naturally lead to a "bumping" of the post. I therefore take the liberty of circumnavigating infopop's shortcoming and do it myself, by hand, as it were.

Brno CZE3 v Kotayk Abovyan ARM
Well, the guys buckled under to a 5th minute goal and never looked like getting back into it. However, the result, seen through Brno eyes , and possibly as a result of some of their rather good lager, was absolutely appalling. Look for a decent bet on the Armenians in the return leg.

Partizan Tirana (Albania) v Maccabi Netanya (Israel)
as expected, the Albs beat the Netanyahas quite comfortably and there ends our interest in this fascinating fixture.

Polonia Warszawa POL2 v Tobol Kostanay KZK 0-3

If you were lucky enough to be on the KZKs then you would have had between 10 and 15 times yer money back.

The books usually wake up very early to the "oddball" and withdraw it pretty tout de suite so it can be difficult to get a bet on but I know they offered 15.00 this morning for the away win at UK tote.

Tanzania-Benin 0-1

a shilling or two here would have paid 2½ times the money, a more modest return and almost an insult by comparison.
The hapless Tanzanians holed up in a youth hostel without bed linen for this tie may be right in thinking their own governing body were less than interested in the African Nations Cup. They even had to go carry their own water from the well.
But then who doesn't?

if the 2 for tobol had been aroung 10 to 15, then how much would the exact score for 0-3 have been? Must have been aroung 150+ to 200+... Good return on investment.
