Those were stupid, but honestly they'd still be favored over any other team in the country, even after their loss last night and most of you know it. Most of the guys posting are just homers from other conferences that are happy that the best team in the nation went down. It's the same people that would have been starting threads like this when NE lost to NYG.
Powerratings mean nothing. Mizzou would lose by at least 24 to USC. USC wouldn't even need to play perfect ball to destroy Mizzou. They are not up there with teams like OU, Texas and Georgia.
They would absolutely DESTROY Alabama. That team is no where near USC. Georgia could keep it close and maybe the only team that could beat USC when they play their best, but I think USC is pretty far ahead of teams like LSU, Auburn, Bama and Florida. Florida would need some big plays to keep it close imo, and LSU would need a miracle performance from their offense.
