It certainly has been a remarkable run overall, especially on the money-line sides. In light of that I think the criticism over the weekend towards PW was very unjustified. One of the main quibbles was the bets PW makes, and the issue of ROI. That issue of course was swiftly dealt with and answered emphatically.
The other criticism, which again, I thought very unfair was that people on the forum can learn nothing from PW, will remain “sheep” and end up losing in the long run when trying to bet alone.
Personally, I feel one thing PW has done, (that people can take away and use themselves) is to set a great example to us all in terms of money management, and how it is a key to long term success. From observing PW’s methods, it’s clear he is patient, wagers sensibly in terms of units, never chases losses.
For me, learning that lesson alone, through seeing it done day to day by someone has helped me grow my bankroll much better than I have done in the past – mainly due to blowing winnings by chasing and impatience. So learning that patience and slow and steady is the key has done wonders for the bankroll. It’s one part of the equation , and often talked about, but hard to dedicate to.
Of course, good money management is one thing in common all the good handicappers on the forum share and is why they are successful year to year.
Anyway, just a thought I wanted to share.

its funny those that come out to bash. One in particular everyone faded and always acted like he won every game even when the record was kept and was hitting like 33%. Lol

Thank you guys !

Money management is everything... I agree.

The average gamer should not be gaming. Its just a fact. You salt in poor money management and you have a disaster and a 1-800 number

The sport you are capping and gaming on....... you have to understand the MONEYBALL aspect of the sport. The true character of the game itself.

I love that movie cause its true. when the kid says teams are buying players instead of wins...that was a classic line... the object to the game is to get on base period...but here are all these scouts chasing only the aspect of Batting average... fascinating tale....

Like we have talked about in the BASES. Its about opportunity. Like last night, those two gas cans will give you so much opportunity, can the lineups take advantage of it. Can they roll consecutive hits together to take that opportunity and the Rangers and Angels can... bam.....14 runs...We said 17, so we came close..... its quite simple. Sure you will lose ..sorry ... you will lose but you only attempt to minimize them. thats all. The bases are opportunity ....will the hurlers provide it...can the lineups take advantage of it. SIMPLE.... it really is...

College Football is built on the teams prior game.. trust me here... when I cap a game for a particular Saturday there is SO MUCH VALUE in capping the game from last week NOW that it is OVER. How did it happen...why did it happen... There is SOOOO much value in the game prior ... We can talk about it more when the time comes and of course the first week of college doesnt provide that..haha but as the season goes on... I can show you what I am talking about.. but if you go back and cap the two teams in questions LAST WEEKS game... you will find a mountain of value on how to cap that current week game...

Well...going into my cave to push out a pick this morning... See ya all in a bit

PEACE
