PSU would be the 5th best team in the Big 12. But they still deserve a shot. We need a playoff.

Florida is the best team IMO.

Figures - here comes the bashing from all the Longhorn Fans... And what would those reasons be? A 9-0 record so far... Oh yeah, that's right, The Big10 is a weak conference argument.... you need to do better than that..... :nohead:

I dont want to hate on TTech because they were great last night, but the odds of them running the table are slim. I have a feeling that we are going to see a Penn State vs Alabama/Florida National Championship, with the winner of the Big 12 game playing USC in the second bowl game. And yes, this is the reason it is absurd that we do not have even a Plus 1 playoff system.

Penn State could lose at Iowa. They probably won't be favored by more than 7.

Penn St. is a great team but they still have two tough games left. I think they could easily loose to Iowa.

At Iowa is their best chance to lose. They'll roll Indiana and Michigan State.

Florida is very good and could be as good as anyone but they do not deserve to be in it over and undefeated Penn State team if PSU runs the table. A team that lost at home to 5-4 Mississippi team does not deserve to have that overlooked.

pennst gonna play for the title...bc bama gonna lose on saturday and TT gonna lose either on saturday or to OU....

there will be 1 undefeated team from a major in PSU and the rest can battle to sneek in the back door with a loss...

let the arguements from the respective coaches proceede....

i personally think USC is gonna get in bc they wont lose another game, they lost early in the season and have a big record in the big bowl games under petey

Is this a joke? Not only is Penn State not "great", but they certainly don't have two "tough" games left. A road game at a down Iowa program whose coach is on the fringe of being fired certainly isn't "tough". And home games against an absolutely pathetic Indiana team and a very, very average Michigan State team who should've lost yesterday at home against a pathetic Wisconsin team isn't "tough" either.

Penn State is barely a top-15 team in any other conference besides the Big-10, which is an absolute joke of a conference.

Penn State and their "spread hd" scored 6 legitimate points in the horseshoe. I thought spread offenses score points. Oops. I'm actually backwardly hoping they make the ncg, so i can go heavy on their opponent.

...and that was the only game besides Illinois they didn't cover.

Also, when was the last time anyone played defense in the big 12?

I'm liking my Oklahoma 9-1 and Texas Tech 15-1 future bets for the BCS Championship right now!

Your confusing bad defense with incredible offenses. Something your not used to seeing in Big 10 country, an actual offense that scores points.

Please get your facts straight:

AP
1 Bama
2 TXTech
3 PSU

Coaches Poll
1 Bama
2 PSU
3 TXTech

BCS is not out yet ....:ohno:

No kidding pal. It's all an educated guess if you noticed the time I posted it.

Keep up the good work. How many times has Big 12 between the Big 10 in the Alamo Bowl?

Another thread filled with clueless drones who think the only way to win football games is by torching the scoreboard.

Penn State is as good as, if not better than anyone in the Big 12.
