How is this PSU's fault?
A non-bowl team? They have 5 wins with 3 games to play.
ONLY 4 wins vs. DIV-1A teams...........and they will only be favored in one of their remaining games, and only slightly at that.
PENN STATE
PURDUE
@ MINNESOTA
Iowa right now is on pace to finish 6-6........and with only 5 wins against DIV-1A teams.........as one of their wins was against Maine.
Last season Iowa finished 6-6 and didnt go to a bowl.....and all those wins were against DIV-1A teams, unlike what may happen this year.
Betcha Ferentz wish he took one of those plum jobs he was offerd a few years back. He was one hot commidity back in the day. His star isnt shining so bright anymore. Still a good coach, IMO.
FYI-made line PSU -8.5, I think it will go up a little but see nothing wrong with number and PSU is a top 10 team, NO DOUBT. I see your point but I think you are picking on the wrong team here. It's the Michigan States and Northwestern's of the worlds that are the phony's.
They joined the Big Ten instead of remaining an Independent.....lol.
Seriously though, PSU itself is not to blame, it's the citizens voting in these polls.
I think you can agree, PSU is not one of the best three teams in this country.
Top twenty?.........with a stretch of the imagination, perhaps.
WOW, you took the short bus to school didnt you? not even top 20? are you fucking kidding me?
i cant wait until psu gets to the national championship game and beats one of your "top 3" teams...just so you people shut the fuck up
yes sir i am, we will talk in january
hopefully iowa will do the college football world a favor and win
They have to get the ball to Greene a minimum 30 carries to stand a chance.
The thing is, if Iowa does happen to keep this game close, the coaching staff will find a way to lose the game.
IOWA is very, very young on the offensive side of the ball, as all their WR's, TE's, RB's and QB's are underclassmen........which doesn't fit well when facing a team with an above average defense.

i will be real about it as well, with the way florida is playing, they scare me... they really do
however, give joe paterno over a month to prepare for a bowl game and you will see the results, take a look at his bowl record
everyone thought that miami would destroy psu in the fiesta bowl too... how'd that work out for miami?
