Yes, if you haven't figured out that teams and players, just like fans don't get up for Akron and Wyoming.

That is what you get when you lay 30+ points on the road.

PSU on the take...????

OMG, LMFAO!!! JoePa on the take, now that is real!!! :WTF: A coach deep in tradition, an icon of college sports, in his 80's, is on the take. Stop the presses, let's investigate JoePa for giving his 2nd and 3rd teams playing time against teams that are obviously less talented. PSU on the take. PSU is notorious for not covering huge lines in the beginning of the season. JoePa could care less about lines, covers, etc. The only thing being taken is the season ticket holders that pay full price for these games at Happy Valley, but then again, the stadium is always sold out!! :):)

I felt something was screwy when Penn St played Akron, up 31-0 1st half & no scoring 2nd half, hmm.

This "on the take" stuff is ridiculous. Both of these teams are just overvalued with the lines because they both were able to win 9 games ATS in 2008. So the linemakers have simply raised their opening lines this year and the public has bet them up even higher. Neither team has an explosive enough offense to overcome those kind of odds. Especially with PSU, who has only 9 starters back this season. This is a big reason why most teams aren't able to have 2 good ATS seasons in a row. I don't know why the public never catches on to it. Both Texas and Penn State will start being good plays again when these lines start coming down to a reasonable number.

are you kidding me watch the games, people make these stupid statements i watched the penn st game they were trying to score at the end of the game vs akron they were passing the ball with 12 secs left in the game on akron's 10 yard line, when they should of been kneeling it, boxscores dont tell the whole game(<)<

I haven't looked at the game in depth, but the Texas -16.5 looks more in line with what their offense will be able to cover. They've failed to cover the 30 and 40 point spreads of their first two games. But this looks like a doable number with a rookie TT QB going on the road for the first time against a very good Horns defense. First conference game and revenge spot for Texas.

sounds about right? Penn st and Texas are the only two teams in the top without a cover ATS

A true sign of a degenerate is complaining that the games are being fixed. Yes I would agree stuff happens every now that would make you wonder. But fixing games at schools like UT and Penn St just wont happen, akron, toledo more realistic.

Both 0-2 ats and 0-2 on the Oove/under.

One of the reasons why I've hit on them this week.

Texas rolls Tech this week. After last week's first half sleepwalk, Texas will be focused all game. Not sure, but wasn't there this one team that kept them out of the championship last year? This will be Colt's statement game for the heisman. 56 - 21 Horns and finally a cover
