Ok, I'll try to talk you out of both plays. I really have no opinion on the BC/Winnipeg game myself, but I do have an opinion on the under in the Calgary/Hamilton game.

I'll start with BC though... The Lions offence has been GOD AWFUL until last week. You're not going to get 5 TD passes from Jarious Jackson every week, nor is Geroy Simon going to be wide fucking open on every route he runs every week.

For some god unknown reason, the Winnipeg offence has become totally one-dimensional. Blink is completely MIA, and the team is still really hurting without Uncle Milt.

I don't think Winnipeg's reaching 20. If they don't, you've got a tall order for an offence led by Jarious Jackson (and still without Joe Smith, though it feels like he's being replaced as we speak).

The Calgary game...

Hamilton's offence totally checks out at times. Lumsden IS their entire offence, and he isn't playing. Casey Printers isn't god and really has nothing else to work with on that side of the ball. I don't feel that they'll get to 17 in this game.

That being said, I DO NOT trust Calgary at all. I think this team is a farce and I don't think they're that good at all. They're a middle of the road team, and I don't feel like this game is as "cut and dry" as it seems. Something like 23-16 wouldn't overly surprise me at the final gun.

I think this is an important point - The tribute to bob ackles will surely sell out the stadiums available seating meaning upwards of 40-45,000 people.

I think this works against the lions as their nerves will be on edge, in the post dickenson era I have rarely seen the lions play a good offensive home game in front of a charged up crowd.

SUPPORTING TREND:
BRITISH COLUMBIA is 9-2 UNDER (+6.8 Units) as a home favorite over the last 2 seasons. The average score was BRITISH COLUMBIA 27.6, OPPONENT 18.4

Now add in that the teams scored 66 points last week and I think the defenses adjust.

SUPPORTING TREND:
Buono is 16-4 UNDER (+11.6 Units) after a playing a game where 63 total points or more were scored as the coach of BRITISH COLUMBIA.
The average score was BRITISH COLUMBIA 30.7, OPPONENT 20.9

I have just seen the lions too many times play to the level of their competition when playing at home, in the past 2 seasons - or ADD (after dave dickenson). No Killer instintict.

GL with play Coaster - I'll be rooting for ya, but would not touch will probably have a 1st half play.
