So here we go. I've had this lean all week and I see no reason to think otherwise.

Contrarian, home dog play here. Quinten Griffen will be in for a rude awakening this week. Trust me KC has not improved this year with their defense. Now Denver travels to Jacksonville where they face a hositle home opener. Jacksonville's defense is underrated this year which is another reason I love this play. Plummer is NOBODY!!!! Irregardless who he's throwing to.

Oakland - 3 ( 1 unit)
Oakland simply ran out of time last week against the Steelers. Although Gannon came off to a rocky start in the 1st half he settled in against a relentless Steeler defense. I especially like how the Raiders managed to hang around considering the way they played. In actuallity they should've been blown out by 3 TD's last week. Look for Oakland to win this comfortably by 17 pts.

I find your views on the steelers game interesting. I backed The Raiders on the M/L and considered myself fortunate to have a shot at the end. Yes they did start off flat but I thought The Steelers went conservative as usual, letting The Raiders back in the game, 4th & 12,

The thing that struck me in the game was the same problems surfaced again, penalties at inopportune times and failure to stop 3rd down.

That doesnt mean they cant cover this week but I was very dissapointed with them last week, Turner has a uphill fight.

3 peet, he is throwing to Rod Smith, whom looked pretty damn good last week. Look for him to have a BIG day today. And the one thing you didn't address about this game is Denver's defense. They looked to be one of the leagues best this season. good luck with all of your plays...

Well.....Jacksonville dug it out to pull off the 1 point win. Lucky for me Quinten decided to get butter fingers when it counted.

As for the Raiders....I can remember this clearly towards the end of the game when the score was 13-3 with 1:27 left on the clock. The Buffalo fan in the row behind me asked, "Why did the Raiders stop blitzing Bledsoe on 4th and 28 when they sacked him for a loss on each previous play???" I turned around disgustedly and replied, "Cuz the spread is '3'". He said back, "Ahhhhhh....I see said the blind man"

I knew though that if the Raiders settled for a field goal towards the end to put the game out of reach, they'd somehow find a way to let the Bills back in it.

Hey, on the bright side, at least I didn't have -3.5

On to next week!!!!!
