Ahh yes, we should drop peer review and just believe whatever some random blogger says instead. Conservatism and science don't mix.

As opposed to believing some random peer review Bullshit? Stupid, drunk fuck

Lol, just because majority of science disagrees with your guys ignorant views doesn't mean they just post "random" shit. Almost all accepted science goes through the peer review process even if some peer review journals are sketchy. It's not even an argument. The one thing we know is science isn't done through conservative blogs. Especially people who don't even do the research. They just sit back and try to sell a story. Not even real science, lol.

Like I said, conservatism and science don't mix. It's pretty much an oxymoron. If you are a conservative you can't believe in science.

Carmen reminds me of the people I know who listen to Rush all day. Some are good people but intellectually stupid. Two I know come to mind, spouting about this and that about Obama, Health Care, etc. I think I know the reason why. These two people are so dumb and they know it, they have a hard time having intellectual conversations with others so they use the main talking points they hear and repeat them so they can sound "smart." In reality they are still dumb. Carmen fits that mold, a really dumb person who does not know how to have intellectual conversations. I bet he doesn't realize how stupid smart people view him especially when he thinks he is tossing around a little racist humor. He's what most smart people would call a piece of shit.

Carmen is no doubt a real life psycho. Dude has major problems. These guys are driven by an ideology. We are driven by science and education. That's why they have hard times arguing with out going in to crazy insults or posting unrelated images with made up quotes on them. It's just a joke. All because they have to defend an ideology.

But they have studies that show dumb people with dumb beliefs believe those beliefs even more when confronted with facts.

Conservatism and science just don't mix.

Dude, anyone that is even remotely educated understands the role peer reviewed journals play in modern science. Conservatives just hate peer review because they can't prove their bullshit theories. That's why your science is done on .com conservative blogs.

AKtard is too dumb, too gullible and too brainwashed to realize that scientists don't have their own interests and agendas...as if the unscientific, unmonitored and self-regulating process known as "peer review" can't be corrupted, especially in the case of "global warming" where trillions of dollars are at stake.

But in the self-aggrandizing word of academia, everyone outside their tenured little bubble is immoral and stupid...everyone except them.

I've said it before, I will say it again - the worst and most destructive ideas in human history originated in the academic world.

In the business world, bad ideas die quickly - or bankruptcy quickly follows.

In the world of academia, bad ideas linger forever.

Very fucking annoying for anyone who doesn't live in a bubble. :>(

Actually the worst and most destructive ideas in human history originated from religious beliefs. The other horrible ideas originated from ideologies.

You are an ideologue, which is why you hate science and educated people. They threaten you. So you have to make up all this bullshit about conspiracies.

Face it you are a far right loon who has no connection to the real world whatsoever.

Nope, religion has nothing on communism and every other half-baked 'ism (fascism, Nazism, socialism etc., all of which are products of academia, which killed hundreds of millions. Not even comparable.

But you wouldn't know any of this since you're a 'progressive' loon - Big Government IS YOUR religion. lol

Lmao!! You are an insane human being. Religion by far has caused more deaths than anything else in the history of mankind. It's still going on to this day. Academia and education has lead to us being the most dominant country in the world. And we will always be progressives. People will always want to advance and become more intelligent.

That's why it's rare to find educated people as far right conservatives. It's usually people like you, Russ, Dave, and Cliven Bundy. Real life nutters.

I love debating these pseudo-intellectual punks born after the Berlin Wall came crashing down - "this time Big Government is good!" lmfao

Communists/statists argued religion and inequality were the main reasons for war and poverty - so they enslaved and killed millions to prove their point. face)(*^%

Nobel Prize winner calls peer review “very distorted,” “completely corrupt,” and “simply a regression to the mean”

with 44 comments
Sydney Brenner

Sydney Brenner has been talking about what’s wrong with the scientific enterprise since long before he shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2002.

And in a new interview, Brenner doesn’t hold back, saying that publishers hire “a lot of failed scientists, editors who are just like the people at Homeland Security, little power grabbers in their own sphere.”

In a King’s Review Q&A titled “How Academia and Publishing Are Destroying Scientific Innovation,” Brenner says:

And of course all the academics say we’ve got to have peer review. But I don’t believe in peer review because I think it’s very distorted and as I’ve said, it’s simply a regression to the mean.

I think peer review is hindering science. In fact, I think it has become a completely corrupt system. It’s corrupt in many ways, in that scientists and academics have handed over to the editors of these journals the ability to make judgment on science and scientists.

Check out the whole interview here.

Folks, if you ever find yourself agreeing with AKtard on something ('stimulus'; QE; Abenomics; global warming; Obama top 5 American; religion responsible for all of history's bloodshed; Sterling will be totally wrapped up by June; Obamacare is working; peer review is science; printing money creates wealth; Willie is a racist; IRS and Benghazi aren't scandals etc.)...it's time to pause and re-evaluate your beliefs.

Libtards mock Willie for being 'wrong' about one stupid election but this kid's propensity for being wrong is uncanny.

I find it ironic that you would take my quote and state, "Don't lower yourself BP" and you just bypassed Carmen's comments which were very low.

In Aki's defense, he never said, "peer review is science" He did say that peer review is a major part of science which in fact it is.
