Clemens is the Anti-Christ. I despise him. Why? He was mediocre at best his last 4 years in Boston, then goes to Toronto and reels off back to back Cy Young's...then goes to the Evil Empire and rides some coattails to a series win.

Fish, i thought moderators were supposed to be impartial? Be fair Clemens is in better shape than most 25 year olds, he doesn't skip starts due to a sore throat either. Give him some respect the man is in the 300 win club.

I like the 7 runs and getting pulled in the first, but can we throw in a "gets pelted by a battery and knocked unconscious as he leaves the mound" That's what I'm hoping for.

Yeah... I hate Clemens.

He choked in some real big games for the Sox.

There was one huge game, I think in the
'86 WS where he managed to get himself
thrown out of the game for some stupid
reason.

I will always despise him for not pitching
up to his potential in Boston, and then
leaving - and then pitching to his
potential.

The game he got tossed from was versus the A's in 1990 I think. He was pitching like crap anyway. Game 6, 1986 (you might remember this game) he begged out after 7 with a blister on his finger. We all remember how that turned out. Would Bird ever have begged out of a game? Pedro? That's why Boston fans hate Clemens. Regardless of whose hat he wears to the Hall, I'll be there booing him as loud as I can.
