You couldn't have included the SINGLE WORD before "concertgoers" in the article?

That word was SEVERAL

Doesn't sound like there was a big uproar. Several people booed. I'm sure they are a great crossection of the American public.

The full article

Theres no way you cut and pasted that. You literally edited out one word to make it seem worse. I can taste the credibility dropping in here...

Of course i know what it means, but there was absolutely NO REASON to use "..." other than to serve your agenda.

You were obviously trying to mislead anyone reading your post.

>other than to serve your agenda

Yes, I have an agenda... But I gave you a reference (CNN) unlike some of your ilk posting stuff from onion.com as real news...

the omission of "several" drops the authenticity of the story?????

i s'pose if you don't use the word cold before the word ice you have no credibility.

talk about irony funk -- you are the one who's credibility is sinking like the titanic, must be too ignorant to just shut up and leave well enough alone.

hansen:

You didn't make any sense. How is my credibility dropping??? You can't just say that it is, you have to provide some evidence of that! Why don't you respond to the accusation that I'm a "once again, a non-sensical liberal twit twisting the news" in Patriots thread too, which I easily disproved.

Frank:

I'm not here to defend my "ilk", but once again I will apologize for posting ONE onion story, complete with Onion-graphical headline. It was quite obviously a joke, if you read like 2 sentences into it. And I didn't post it as It's own topic. When I post news I always include the source, and usually even a link.

Do you have the reading comprehesion of a 9th grader?

First of all, nothing drops the "authenticity" of the story. It was posted at CNN, no one is challenging how authentic it is.

What has dropped, is FatFranks credibility, because he willfully misrepresented the the CNN article.

Your analogy doesn't make sense either. Ice IMPLIES cold. All ice is cold.

However, "concertgoers" DOES NOT IMPLY "several". In fact, it implies the opposite, that the concertgoers as a general group were booing Pearl Jam. This is false.

>However, "concertgoers" DOES NOT IMPLY "several".

Were the booers "concertgoers"?

Yes, Frank, according to CNN they were.

The booers are a subset of the group "concertgoers", but the concertgoers are NOT a subset of the group "booers".

Its much like "All Eagles are Birds" but " NOT All birds are eagles".

Once again, you are not making sense. Would you care to expand on that?

Plant as in: A person or thing put into place in order to mislead or function secretly, especially: a. A person placed in a group of spectators to influence behavior.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>Maybe the "booers" were FBI plants...

Understand now?<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Why would the FBI have plants at a Pearl Jam concert??? I'm sure they were just a couple dissatisfied people...
