I have purchased picks from multiple "elite handicapping services", that "guarantee" winners, but I do not have the bank roll to show that. Has anyone had any luck with a particular handicapping site/service? I currently pay on a few sites, Preditctionmachine.com, Madduxsports, Beatingyourbookie.blogspot.com, and I have paid cappers in the past, such as Ray Carbone, and other web sites, but not great luck. Also, Maryland +7.5 & Providence +8...any thoughts for tomorrow?

Read this very closely and follow it.

It's difficult enough to hit in the 53% range to break even on plays. Adding another service fee on top of it, whatever the number is, just makes the task even harder. And some of these services don't just ask for pocket change for access to their picks.

Trust me, there are plenty of very solid handicappers on this site who post their plays for free in just about any sport you want. If you read the forums for a few weeks, you'll learn who the good guys are and who to filter out. Or, just go to the picks record tracker forum and look at the standings, which are updated daily. Find the good guys and tail them if you don't trust your own plays.

I've never paid for a service but don't know why I would. If I wanted to tail a capper I'd take one off this site. There are a few very good ones that do it on here for no money. Adding a fee on top of the variance of sports betting is something that would be tough for even great handicappers to beat. And most of these sites are more interested in getting your fee then in picking winners. At least the people on here are out in the open so you can really see their history and how they've performed.

Still like to make my own picks, and I've been doing pretty well on it. Sometimes I'll tail a play off the forum, and those have been doing pretty well lately too. But I can't really see myself ever paying for picks, unless I was completely convinced the guy could avg like 70-75% over the long run. But that hasn't happened yet and I'm not sure if it ever will or is really even possible.
