take golden state +8.5 here boys. dallas opens there season at la on tuesday and on wednesday they go to gsw. 8.5 is a lot of points early in the season especially for a home dog for there home opener. warriors played dalls well last year. they were a nice home team all last year. warriors played three home exibit. games and won all three by 24 vs clips by 17 vs seattle and by 17 vs kings. they are ready. dallas only 1 win in last 5 pre season games and they do not look ready at all. blowout losses to clips, utah (wtf) and kings and home loss to 76ers. and they were playing there starters. so we are not talking backups here. take the warriors plus points. good luck pay to win.

Have you seen what kind of personal problems the warriors are having?

starting point guard out, starting shooting guard out, 2nd year small forward starting, backup PF starting......they wont have anyone coming from the bench....warriors have no shot here, the only thing you can hope for is a late late backdoor cover.

It should be either dallas or a pass!

I'd be careful about using Golden State's results from last year with any meaning. Arenas, Jamison, Boykins, Sura, and Fortson are gone. Richardson starts the season suspended. Murphy is out. And newly acquired Van Exel is out.

For the opener, they're looking at a starting lineup of Claxton, Cheaney, Dampier, Cliff Robinson, and Dunleavy. Not much off the bench either.

If focused, Dallas could name their score here. What concerns me from the Dallas side is that they open against the Lakers the night before, so the letdown effect is a real possibility. Plus, they're still getting adjusted to their new lineup with the acquisition of Walker.

Good luck...but I'd be leery about the Warriors here. They're a very different team right now.

thanks for the comments guys. yes im aware of warriors situation but i stil believe that 8.5 pts is too much going against any home opening dog. and dalls will have hard time playing the day after they met the la,..anyways, good luck with your plays.

this is exactly the mistake i expected the books to make for the opening night game featuring lakers and mavs. this total is way too high and i think it will go down soon. 205.5 points is scary early in the season. both teams will also need time to gel after there numerous offseasn changes. this total is funny.

undre 205.5 dallas at l.a.lakers for 2 units.

golden state +8.5 = one unit play.

man this forum rocks. i had hard time finding my post. page three lol. i will add two more plays.

cavs at kings under 197 c'mon give me a break.these two teams averaged 168 points in there two games last year and we have a 197 total for there first game of the season??? is lebron james going to score 29? i dont think so. brad miller ? nope. the kings are not as deep as last year and both teams have some new guys who need to learn the system. this is the opening game, no chemistry, no scoring. take the under,...

bucks at wolves under 195. ok these two teams played two very high scoring games last year but show me one bucks player on there 2003/2004 roster who can score 20+ consistently. no allen, no payton. kukoc ? no. he is like 50 years old. and we all know the t-wolves are comitting to D this year.

last year dallas was 0-4 ats on back to back road games after losing the first one.they allowed 112+ pts in all four games. i know golden state is not as good as last year but dallas is over-loaded. reminds me of portland a few years back. it will take quite some time for this team to gel.they finished their playoff ride going 1-4 in there last 5 games, they had a horrible pre season 3-5 (losing three of there final four) and they openned the regular season with an embarassing loss to the lakers last night. i just feel they are not ready to lay 10 on the road as of yet.

3 unit play for thursday.

cleveland at phoenix 190 under at olympic (pinnacle total : 188.5 and i think olympic will move it soon) .funny total. phoenix is a very good defensive team and cleveland will learn that hard way especially after facing the much faster kings team today.they met two times last year and the average total was 169.5,and now we ask these two teams to getin the 190's ? not gonna happen.
