Ya man, saw that on scores and odds also. Crazy. I don't care who is QB for Pats, I will always risk my grass on the mad hoody. He is a genius at finding your weakness and out coach the other team. If line stands, you will see my having some grass on the Pats.

Maybe has to do with 3rd string qb

Yes, I know that. I am still surprised. I expected NE -2 or so. Brissett was pretty good tonight and they will have a game plan that is specific to his skill sets (which are unique, compared to their other QBs). I don't think they should be home dogs - even if a rookie is playing QB. Rookies have been playing well in the NFL this year and in the past, and the Pat's have the best coaching staff.

I didn't get to see Brissett play, how did he look throwing the ball? Was it mostly quick check down stuff or did he hang in the pocket and make reads?

I believe before the injury it was around NE -3. Isn't the game off the board?

Oh, they were all check-downs or short passes. And few of them. 6-9, 96 yards. But, his first drive he led them to a TD, they were up 31-3, so they game plan was obviously not to air it out.

And I do think the playbook will be limited, for sure. But I do think the Pat's cant put together a decent offensive game plan with him (although I concede it being a Thursday hurts his study time). Also, Houston won't know much about Brissett.

I could be wrong. Maybe the Pat's go all Week 17 vs miami last year, and just run the ball every play and if they lose, so be it, get Jimmy ready for Buffalo in 10 days (a more important division game). Also telling is that the Pat's aren't brining in a new QB. Maybe Jimmy G will be the backup.

Yeah, some had the hook, but just about.

Some books have it down. Some have it up. Some only moneylines up. It varies from 1 point to 2.5 (-115). I am curious to see how the public bets on this one.

Belichick will make the 3rd string Qb look like Brady after practice this week......coach does amazing things with less talent on paper than any coach in the history of the NFL.

Houston for me didn't matter who was starting for ne in this game for me. I'd rather see garropolo because I hate betting against backups in their first start.

After these 3 days you mean after just processing what he did yesterday? Sounds like a lot to take in in 3 days. I'll bet against the mad scientists.

My Power rating down graded by 5 pts Brady to Grap and 3 Pts Grap to Bris - Still has the Pats Favoured by 2.5 WTF.....not What the F....Wrong team Favoured.

Hard to bet on the PATS but this is Houston's 1st Road Game And Os not exactly lighting the texans world on fire.
Bill will have a game plan for Hopkins on O and Watt on D.

Yup. He's got his thumb on every aspect of every situation.
I want against him in the AZ game; won't make that mistake again. See this line down to a PK or more by kickoff.

This is a game Julian Edelman needed to be back up qb with Jimmy G on the sideline for 1 wk, i suspect Bill will try to help new rookie qb by grounding the ball as much as he can, Pats win by two but love the UNDER in this game
