just stop

who's taking them out in the AFC?

the "undefeated Broncos"? who they used like a dust mop along with the AFC's 3 other division winners?

is AZ a lock to beat them?

all your faith must be residing in the GB Packers

PS: it's OK to suggest they won't win it all, it's silly to act as if they have no chance

I'd definitely take the Broncos... and the AFC is so good this year I wouldn't be surprised if a wild card team makes a run, there's a couple teams in the AFC I really like

I didn't say they have no chance, I said I would happily book NE to Win SB all day long, particularly at those odds.

You can lay that action with me Willie ...How much you want $500 on it? puff_>>

Pulling for Dallas to get the monkey off it's back. Saints have disappointed and the Pats have had their time being King of the Mountain.

I don't usually bet or like futures, but if I do bet one it would be something like UConn to win the dance at 50-1

anyhow, I could get +515 at 5dimes where GB is favored at +485.

I can't let you call me out, so if you give me +515, I'll wager 300 to win 1545 or 200 to win 1030. I don't want to take you for 2575, that would have to hurt :) (Defying doesn't have to post up for me MikeB, not when he'd be laying 5 to 1)

Good luck, I'm a Pats fan so I hope you win.

Green Bay is the favorite in MOST books in Vegas now. However I just bought some at +650 which is by
FAR the best I've seen anywhere.

Finally. Time to start talking NFL playoffs.
Vegas Insider released its end-of-the-season odds for each team winning the Super Bowl, and the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks are tied (5/2) for top honors.
Along with a first round bye, both the Seahawks and Patriots have homefield advantage throughout the postseason which plays into their favored odds. The teams are a combined 14-2 at home this season. One team that may not matter to is the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys (8/1) beat the top-seeded Seahawks in Seattle in Week 6, and are a perfect 8-0 on the road.
The Arizona Cardinals began the season with 65/1 odds and are trying to be the first NFL team to host a Super Bowl in their own stadium. Despite an overachieving 11-5 record, the Cardinals' woes at quarterback have Vegas doubting Arizona (75/1). They face the seven-win Carolina Panthers in the first round who are slated with better Super Bowl chances.
Below is the complete list of updated odds, as well as the NFL's Wild Card Weekend playoff schedule provided by nfl.com.
[h=2]Odds to win Super Bowl XLIX[/h]New England Patriots 5/2
Seattle Seahawks 5/2
Green Bay Packers 11/2
Denver Broncos 6/1
Dallas Cowboys 8/1
Pittsburgh Steelers 12/1
Indianapolis Colts 30/1
Baltimore Ravens 40/1
Carolina Panthers 40/1
Cincinnati Bengals 40/1
Detroit Lions 50/1
Arizona Cardinals 75/1

[h=2]NFL Wild Card Weekend[/h]Saturday, Jan. 3
NFC: 4:35 PM (ET) (5) Arizona at (4) Carolina (ESPN)

AFC: 8:15 PM (ET) (6) Baltimore at (3) Pittsburgh (NBC)
Sunday, Jan. 4
AFC: 1:05 PM (ET) (5) Cincinnati at (4) Indianapolis (CBS)

NFC: 4:40 PM (ET) (6) Detroit at (3) Dallas (FOX)
Byes:
AFC: (1) New England Patriots and (2) Denver Broncos

NFC: (1) Seattle Seahawks and (2) Green Bay Packers
Note: The division champion with the best record in each conference will host the lowest seeded Wild Card survivor in round 2. Once teams are seeded for the playoffs, positions do not change.

Seattle is a way bigger fav on 5D despite the fact the Pats are a slightly bigger fav to win their conf

Which is weird because if they played in the SB it would be close to a PK line

Pitt at 24-1 at 5dimes. It pains me but I may gobble some of that up. How messed up is Bell is the question.

Probably would be around 3-1 @NE and @Den though and then 2 more games that probably average around PK would put the true odds at closer to 40-1 (NE could lose to Cincy/Indy but looking like long shot right now)

better just betting it by the week (also a good hedge against the emotional devastation of the Steelers killing the Ravens)

If the Pats win their divisional game, I think they will be in super bowl. Ravens and Steelers could give them a game. Peyton has been disastrous in the conditions at Gillette through the years and by then, will prob be very cold and snow. and everyone will say he chocked. Going against Revis in the cold. Uggh

The Pays are his kryponite in the past. Even SB year, came down to a wes walker call and that was at home.

If it is a NE/Sea Superbowl, I will have a large wager on Seattle....

That being said my Superbowl history of picking winners is horrible.....
