No, no, that was Ron Jeremy!
No it was him man..I actually had spoken to him earlier when he came in my store..His demeanor towards the young lady stunned me..I had liked him and his brother...His brother once gave me a picture of himself

Loved that play off squirmish where he transformed himself into Alonzo Mourning`s shoe lace

He was an injured Dwayne Wade in Game 7 away from the NBA Finals.

No reason to think he wouldn't have gotten there the next year in the watered down Eastern Conference, and very well beaten the Mavs. I figured Wade would've gotten to the line the 500 times he did with SVG or Riley on the bench.

Spread, you can't say that shit and then not share. Woman.

Riley is a big reason Wade went to the line so much in the Dallas series and the Detroit series. That man has pull with the refs whether we like it or not.

Oh..I thought it was because Wade had a great series..Maybe playing that Olympic BB took a toll on the legs this year too..Lebron sucked in that series too

With Van Gundy at the helm, would the Heat have a ring?

there is at least some doubt that they would

Hindsight is obviously 20/20, but what adjustments did Riley make that SVG wouldn't have made? What did SVG do grossly wrong that warranted him being pushed aside?
What did Pat Riley really do to put that team over the top? I don't think he did that much.

This is a topic that you can talk about for a long long time. What did he do with the lakers? He had a handful of the greatest NBA players in history. Then last year he had Wade go on one of the greatest runs in NBA history. ALL I am saying is that you can make that argument.

SVG did not do ANYTHING to warrant getting pushed aside.

Riley played to the Ref's and to the Media. He begged for foul calls early on and continued with the media. Van Gundy would not be capable of having the same effect if he did it.

Thats just part of great coaching Lad..I am no Riley fan..But he is a great coach..

Yes VanGundy was a pigeon..So what?..Business move made to win the Championship..Some times you got to step on a few toes..

Not often mentioned that original Heat coach Ron Albatross Rothstein was also on the Heat bench..After tenure with WNBA Sol and NBA clubs..

I was at first Heat game ever and what happened last year was a miracle..Miami has been blessed with some Championships with some relatively young ball clubs (Marlins too)..

Can still remember the first jump shot 2 pointer in Heat history like it was yesterday..Rory Sparrow with a baseline jumper..( Couple days after we got him fron the Knicks..decent guard in his day..)

Heat blocks Van Gundy raid
By Ira Winderman

Former Heat coach Stan Van Gundy said Wednesday he has been rebuffed in his bid to add members of the Heat coaching staff to his new staff in Orlando.

Speaking on WQAM's Hank Goldberg Show, Van Gundy said Heat coach Pat Riley has decided to hold his staff to their contracts.

"It's unfortunate for me, but Pat's got a great staff there. He recognizes it and he's not going to let 'em go, because he knows how good they are," said Van Gundy, who was hired last week by the Magic.

Van Gundy has been particularly close to Heat assistants Bob McAdoo and Erik Spoelstra, and also has spoken of the growth Keith Askins has made as a Heat assistant. Spoelstra has been mentioned by Riley as his possible successor. All three served under Van Gundy during his two seasons as Heat coach.

Among those Van Gundy said he now is targeting in Orlando are "a couple of other guys who have been head coaches in the league."

Van Gundy said he expected to complete his Magic staff next week. He said he spoke to his brother, Jeff Van Gundy, the former Rockets coach and current ABC television analyst, who bypassed an offer to join his staff as an assistant.
