On his show this afternoon, he just let it slip. Said he knew of many guys on the Colts who gambled on and against their team when Frank Reich was coach. He just confirmed what we all knew. Bet he will be getting a letter from the NFL. But good to hear his honesty. My cousin who also played 5 years has basically confirmed this and he played before legalization.

It’s funny the NFL has only caught a few players but we all know most are doing it. Makes you wonder if that ravens RB must have had ravens -4 last night 🤣🤣🤣

I would take anything MacAfee says with a huge grain of salt
I agree as Pat loves to hear himself talk , funny dude at times. But it does make you wonder, since gambling has become so prevalent last few years and they only caught a handful doing it? I think it’s more widespread than people realize and said early my cousin who was a center for lions and cowgirls years ago used to say it was happening then through local bookies. His teammate Terrell Owens flew to Vegas several times during the season to gamble but makes you wonder if he was in the sports book too (I saw him playing craps mid week years ago circa 2008 during season at bellagio). Now with online gambling it’s so easy..

Its funny, Its "easier" to bet now with all the online books but its "easier' to get caught too. I know for a FACT players bet on games, props and fantasy. When it was only bookies taking action, there was basically no way a player would be caught.

Honestly, any player that gets caught (even in todays digital age) is a freaking moron. Between VPN's and just having someone else put them in for you, there is absolutely no reason to get caught.

i do think many bet, but on their own games i would think they might not knowing how bad that would be, even if they had a family member or friend do it for them on their game, what if that person all of a sudden had something against you, i in now way think pro games are fixed they make too much money, and vegas watches any betting trends on every team , i know for a fact college used to have some crooked games, pro's are diff, they make too much, you would need the qb for sure, and others, and in todays pay for these guys making 50 million a year, they are not going to try and win a couple of hundred thousand, college hoops have had lots of crooked shit years ago, .....now with NIL these college kids are making millions

Been
A player since i was 18
I think it has been fixed for years
It’s so obvious
You’d have to be ignorant
To think otherwise
When it comes to money
Anything happens
Guys making the calls on the field are the controllers of the spread.

Good points. Then Bounty gate had to be a farce and all
Who were suspended and fined should sue the NFL for damages .
