I just won a $164 pot in 2-4 hold'em at Party Poker. That has to be some kind of record.

ancient chinese proverb- Don't keep raising man who has set of jacks which improves to top full house.

Now I just need to win the other $1400 I lost yesterday on the NFL :madmad :madmad :madmad :aktion033

ive played 30,000 hands at 2/4 and my biggest pot wins were in the 130s, 3 times. Once with quad 8s where I sucked out on the river against a bigger set.

I just got done playing 3 hours of raked hands and ended up exactly where I started. oh well. . at least it kept me from placing live wagers on the game. and I qualified for a 30k free roll in the process

good job.....at Truepoker I dep 50$ about 2 weeks ago have it up to 278$ playing mainly 1-2 games

its like taking candy from a baby there if you know even a little how to play correctly....sad people playing IMO you will have a nut flush and some Yahoo is RAISING you , you almost feel bad :toothless

Dante,

You gotta watch out for one thing with those nut flushes. One time I was playing 5,7 spades and made a straight flush on the 4th card of the flop. Another guy had an ace high flush and he was just so happy to raise me all the way and again after the fifth card.

He never saw my hand coming. It was a big pot and the guy was shellshocked after he lost it

good point Mr Smith... I was just refering "overall" the people playing the 1-2 games even 2-4 to an extent are pretty clueless....and you can get there 20$ or so they bring to the table pretty easy

You guys haven't really seen clueless until you play games 3-6 and lower on the Vegas Strip or in Cali. The 1-2 and 2-4 players are actually half-way talented, they just don't care about the money. In Vegas and Cali they aren't half-way talented and still don't care about the money.

In Vegas now, if you play in the 3-6 game at the Mirage or Stardust you often can be the only person with a clue in the game. I was playing the 4-8 game at the Bellagio not that long ago and hit a nut flush on the turn and had to withstand a ton of action, but go to the river with just one opponent. This other guy hits a straight on the end and keeps raising me heads up, he finally stops at 6 bets I think it was. After I show my hand he turns his up expecting to win the pot. When told a flush beats a straight he asked for a floorman, he though we were all shitting him because in his game he says a straight is better than a flush. I swear I had to wait two minutes to get my pot because this guy insisted on a ruling he had no chance of winning. Then after another hand or two he was pissed and got up and left. He probably thinks nothing but thieves play poker in Vegas.
