Paris Hilton is no stranger to the spotlight, but now the blonde heiress is trying to keep a low profile while in Australia, as a sex tape featuring the 22 year old surfaced here in the States.
A far cry from the glitz and glamour of her Hollywood premieres, the latest video of Paris, reportedly features her in a role she'd rather forget -- having sex with an ex-boyfriend.
The home video was shot three years ago, while Paris was dating Rick Solomon, Shannon Doherty's ex-husband (they weren't married at the time). The tape has found its way into the hands of the Web site "Sex Brat," which is reportedly threatening to distribute it via the Internet.
Solomon's lawyer, Joe Costa, said his client is dumbfounded as to how the tape got out.
"Rick considers this to be a private matter, and what's on that tape is a private matter," said Costa. "I think Rick is angry. The current plan is to pursue some legal remedy against this."
Paris was spotted in Queensland, Australia, playing with dolphins alongside sister Nicky Hilton. The Hilton sisters made the trip Down Under to catch The Melbourne Cup, one of Australia's biggest events.
Paris and Nicky also attended "The Matrix Revolutions" premiere in Sydney, an event where Paris reportedly hooked up with a new man, singer Robert Mills, a former "Australian Idol" contestant.
Access Hollywood's Pat O'Brien was in Sydney covering the premiere and asked the siblings what they thought of the city.
"We love it, it's amazing," they said.
Paris is the star of this December's reality show, "The Simple Life," and isn't taking the scandal lightly. Her parents are threatening legal action against anyone who attempts to distribute the tape.
Kathy Hilton, Paris' Mom, issued a statement that said: "Paris is our daughter, and we love her deeply. She is our baby. We are tired of people trying to exploit our daughters for commercial gain. This is the lowest. We're behind her and support her completely."
