Some tool on XM 175 was saying that since Papelbon worked 2 innings last night, that he would be unavailable tonight. I call BS, there is no way he wouldn't pitch. I doubt he would go 2 innings again though.

What do you all think???

He will pitch, but one thing I have observed over the course of the season is he has been much more hittable this season in situations like this. Most relievers are generally less effective 2 games in a row, but Papelbon in the past has still been close to unhittable. Well this hasnt been the case this season.

"Despite the seven innings pitched by the bullpen last night, Francona said everyone in the 'pen is available. Jonathan Papelbon, who has pitched four innings in three days, is still available, but he will not pitch two innings tonight, Francona said."
