This is a very tough game to call. The Rams are so tough at home (8-0 Straight Up) yet they can't stop the Run. (give up 4.8 YPC)

I lean to the Panthers to cover, the Rams to win.

A quick look back at the baltimore game from a few weeks back serves as a constant reminder of what can happen when Marc Bulger is exposed which is what will happen come come saturday. St Louis won the scoreboard, but only because Kyle Boeller was playing for the Rams istead of the Ravens. They scored 21 points off of turnovers and still only won by 11 points. Jake Delhomme is not Kyle Boeller...And John Fox is not Mike Martz...I love the Dog here!

For me right now , in this game I cant see it any other way but all Rams here. Their arial attack if on track and on track early, will definately force Carolina into a game they are not suited for. I see the Rams getting it done, and their speed on the turf will make up for their poor def against the run as Carolina will want to play a ball control game which will lead to Davis to be targeted from the start. Bottom line is the Rams can allow for mistakes whereas Carolina must play error free ball in order to stay in this one. Get behind this Ram team and its lights out for them.

This is a tough one to cap. I'm leaning to Carolina because I think Martz is the worst field management coach in the history of the nfl (ok - maybe just current coaches...). He is impulse driven and makes bizzare decisions during games. His team is turnover happy. If that happens in this game, Carolina could sneak through. Still need to get some information and analysis to pull the trigger. For now, lean to the live dog.....

I'm w/ CC. I think the "greatest show on turf" shows up BIG this weekend. I have been a Carolina doubter all season. Their win last week convinced me that they are a good team, but I think their schedule towards the end of the year (including Dallas last week) shows that they really haven't played a GOOD team lately. Yes they have a good defense, but if they get behind early, they definitely don't have the offense to keep up with the Rams. I think the Rams pull away early and don't look back. 28-10 final....

Carolina has a great defense. However, they cant shut St. Louis down on their home turf. St. Louis will win, cover, and advance.

Win, Lose, or Draw..the Rams will be sharper after the Detroit motivator, and Caro & Delhomme will get some points off that Ram's Defense, and though this is a traditionally big NFL Favorite weekend, I just can't lay it, also Caro's ability to run the ball(chew up clock) or inability to do such(forced to air/down early) can easily skew this side and total, but not the outright..St.Louis 30 - Caro 20..REGULAR OVER.

to think that carolina's defense is so good that they are going to go down to st.louis and shut down the rams at home is silly.
the only chance the panthers have to cover is to score points.
gotta go with history on this one.

pace and turley are solid at t. The rams will run better than dallas could. HOMEFIELD is huge and the crowd noise will effect Car. Car played a great game last week but will not duplicate that effort on the road. Rams at home are the play.

This game will be tight early I think and when and if carolina gets a lead they will run it down the rams throat and with stifling defense. But the rams won't let that happen to them because they will have faulk making some key plays that will determine this one I feel. I'm going with the Rams 23 to Carolina's 16 or 17. Their dome will have an affect on Jake D. which will mean an interception or two?
