pandaburr playoff thread

playoff baseball is historically my best sport, so hopefully that will continue in 2008. Plays will be 1*-5*. Each * is $50 for me. I am by no means a big timer.

1* BREWERS +205 (Game 1) $50/$102.50

I do not trust the Phillies in this spot. Hamels is a stud, but I think Gallardo has some good stuff and it could stay close. Worth a shot here.

2* CUBS -155 (Game 1) $155/$100

Dempster at home. Wrigley will be rocking. I am sort of worried about Lowe somehow pitching a gem, since he is a proven playoff stud. I have seen plenty of games this year where the Dodgers offense just struggles on the road and I expect more of that here.

Will be back later with the late game most likely. Think I can get some more value with the line moving....

White Sox had to win two games at HOME just to make the playoffs. I think that finally catches up to them now that they have to travel to Tampa to take on the Rays. Shields has been money at home and the yoiung team will be fired up. I will back home chalk here.
