this is great news for those of us who hold tix on the padres at 35-1 to go to the WS and 75-1 to win the WS (made the day after t-giving at the riviera in vegas)

Sheesh,

I thought I was the only Padre fan at the Rx. It's good to see a couple of other Padre backers !

Did I mention I have a "hat night" collection that goes back to 1976.

I am a diehard Padre fan and season ticket holder. It's WAY TOO EARLY to get carried away. Klesko is still hurting, and the starting pitching staff is in tatters (Peavy and Wells on DL), Valdez hanging on by a thread, Eaton getting racked. That all being said, the division is so weak, anything's possible. With Jason Schmidt back healthy the Giants are the team to beat.

Nobody is getting carried away. It's been a long time since they have been in 1st. I'm just enjoying it while I can. We have not been in a pennant race since '98.

I can't wait to escape the heat and visit Petco in July !
