Alright, what a great game to start the season off. Moving to Seattle on Feb 1st so next year will be able to go to these games wearing my RGIII jersey. I hate the Seahawks with a passion. SB hangover, soft offense, Green Bay will come to play today.

Wk1 Green Bay ML (+215) $200 to win $430

Let's start the season off right!

I hope you're right Ak. ... Do you think this Green Bay no huddle is going to work or will they shoot themselves in the foot trying to dance too fast ?

Hating a team isn't a sound reason to bet against a team. Looks like you'll be starting the NFL season 0-1.

Seattle played such an easy schedule last year when it comes to offenses. Other than Brees, they played pretty much the worst offenses in the NFL at home. I think up tempto, spread, can be a good thing to take the crowd out and keep the game moving. I think Green Bay will be able to move the ball. And I like what Green Bay added on defense. Should be a good game, but I think the Packers end up out front.

9 of Seattle's 19 games played last year were against the top 10 worst offenses in the NFL. Only 3 of the 19 games were in the top 10 and in those 3 games, qbs (brees, manning) threw for 736 yards (245 yds per game) and 3 tds - 2 ints.

Now they throttled the Saints once and Broncos... but if a team plays a little sharper, with out the self inflicted mistakes they can take this Seattle team.

Seattle's offense is creeping up to the level of that defense and not many people know it. Defense is still superior, but Russell will have a breakout year and I also get the sense that people either a) forgot Percy Harvin is on the Seahawks and b) may have forgotten how great he really is when he's on the field. Packers may score a couple points but Seattle's O will score right along with them with the difference being how vastly superior their defense is to Green Bay's despite possible improvement.

Careful now, the broncos were not exactly an "Easy offense". I like your posts and insights, but they took Denver to task..the top rated, record setting offense..

I hate the NFL! Teams just crumble against the Seahawks. Unreal. Stupid bet but the season is long!
