Dwyane Wade played cheerleader as Miami evened its Eastern Conference semifinal series Wednesday night.

The Indiana Pacers do not lose two consecutive games often, but they lost their second straight Wednesday night when the Miami Heat, buoyed by another frenzied crowd, evened its four-of-seven-game Eastern Conference semifinals series at 2-2. The Heat took charge in the second half and beat Indiana, 100-88, before a crowd of 20,128 at the American Airlines Arena. The victory was Miami's second straight over the Pacers, who lost two games in a row only three times during the regular season. Game 5 is scheduled for Saturday in Indianapolis. Lamar Odom led the Heat with 22 points. Caron Butler added 21 and Dwyane Wade chipped in 20. Jermaine O'Neal had 37 for Indiana.
