Okay so I am an alum of a PAC10 school. I also believe in the conspiracy theory "East Coast Bias". But once again it looks like the PAC10 is gonna get screwed and it's champ is not going to have an chance to play for the Nat'l Championship.

Couple years back BCS took Nebraska over Oregon and Joey Harrington. Even though Nebraska was beaten by Colorado and was not even make the Big12 Championship game. Miami went on to spank Nebraska as we all new they would. Oregon went to the Fiesta and took apart the Big 12 champ.

Last year USC was overlooked and all they did was demolish Iowa, a team some thought had they played Ohio St in the regular season would have beaten them.

Once again the Big 12 champ gets demolished and here we go allowing them to play for all the marbles. I just wish that for once that the NCAA would realize that they could make so much more money if they would have a playoff of the top 16 or 24 teams. They do it at every other level of football that that the NCAA oversees.

And for those who say the Pac10 was weak, remember that in Week 1 Cal (our 6th place team) went to Kansas State and only lost by 14 (42-28) in a game that was a lot more intertaining than the one KSU/OU played last night. Or that Oregon, another weak PAC10 team took apart the Big10 champion, Michigam in September. But of course no one will remember that.

I don't think the PAC 10 has been shafted yet.

I hate the arguement that Oregon should have played over Nebraska. If NU wasn't #2 it would have been Colorado NOT oregon. I think Oregon may have played a little better than Nebraska but MIAMI was far and away better than anyone.

USC didn't get screwed last year. You should tell them football starts in AUGUST not early November. There were two undefeated teams, USC had 2 losses, it wasn't even an arguement.

YOU could argue Michigan is playing the best now and should be Over USC. But Michigan has two loses meaning they are below USC.

I just look at the Pac10 and believe they may be the 4th but probably the 5th best conference in the nation. That may hurt USC this year, not their faults but that is the way it is.

you forgot to mention the year FSU played OU

Miami beat FSU that year and had only one loss that loss was to Washington that had only one loss.

Could have made a case for UW playing that year.

In my opinion I just don't think they have had one of the two most dominant teams at the end of the year.

Seriously some of you need to stop whining about USC last year. They had 2 losses & not 1 but 2 teams have NO LOSSES. Use some common sense & realize USC did NOT belong in the title game last year. Oregon a few years ago got shafted as they were rightfully the second best team!

EGD, LineBreaker:

I think you both are missing the point. In march we have March Madness, right now all of the divisions are playing on the field in tournaments to determine who the national champion will be. With all the gambling that takes place, the NCAA would make far more money by holding a tourney than this silly, subjective BCS crap. Why should games between ND (5-7), Syracuse (6-6), Boise (11-1) and Hawaii (8-4) determine which team get to the championship game. Seed the conference champions and this includes the MAC, C-USA, WAC, MWC and all the other BCS conferences and then take 4 at large teams based on rankings, strength of Schedule, and records. Hold the games at neutral sites (ie the bowls) and work your way toward the the title. Do you realize that couple years back a company offered about 352 Million to the NCAA to hold a tournament. They turned it down because they did not want to keep the athletes out of the classrooms that long. So what does the NCAA do following this, allow teams to schedule 13 games and if they make the conference tourney, a 14th and then the bowl makes 15. They could have played 11 game season and them 4 rounds of a tournament.

Based on the current season, USC could be #1 in both ESPN and the AP but miss out on championship game.

And that UW and Oregon St team couple years back as both those teams went on to win Rose and Fiesta. Oregon beat texas in the Holiday that year.

Thanks for the input.
