5-7-1 in posted plays in the OOC season. Decided to wait it out until Pac play to start getting the ball rolling (hopefully). Didn't like either side in the SC/UO game, but have a play for the other 3 that are going on tonight.
2* UCLA/OSU UNDER 129
I like this play the most for a few reasons. Robinson is still installing a Princeton like offense in Coravlis that his players sometimes have a VERY big problem scoring in (see 45 points vs Howard), and I really don't see the Beavs settling into the mid 50s. The problem might be keeping UCLA under 80, which could be challenging for a below average defense. The key aspect I'm looking from is that Robinson will have his offense run the clock on every possession as long as the game is close, which is what the Beavs need to do.
2* ASU ML -105
While Stanford is the Pac's only remaining undefeated school, they haven't played anyone of note. At all. Outside of possibly Texas Tech at home they haven't seen a team of the Sun Devil's talent. Although ASU hasn't looked as great as Pac-10 and other CBB guru's thought they were going to be, I'm not going to give up on Hardin and Pendegraph yet. This is a big test for them from a standpoint of if this team can get the job done on the road, something that cost them from getting an NCAA bid last season. This Stanford team isn't as bad as people make them out to be without The Lopez twins and Fred Washington, but I think they come up short in their first real big test of the year.
1* Cal -4.5
I really should be staying away from this game, but I'm thinking Mr. Hyde shows up for Arizona. Once again it looks like Arizona will be one of the most unpredictable teams to cap in the country, just because their stars Budinger, Hill, and Wise are so inconsistent. Just like their Bay area rival Stanford, Cal isn't nearly as horrible as people think with stars Ryan Anderson and DeVon Hardin gone. This is a big game for the Golden Bears to show to the rest of the Pac-10 that they are for real and will be a tough out in conference play.
Good luck fellas and let's all have a great Pac-10 season.
