Where are the PAC 10 players?


I'd like a 4 team 10pt tease:
Stanford -1
Zona +2
Zona State -1
Cal +16

Still I'll hold off till I hear the gripes from you people.

I think the weakest link is Zona State... Its so odd that zona state is such a bottom dweller - they, and washington state, have played a bunch of tough teams and lost a bunch of games... I almost wanna go out on a limb and take Wstate at home then again I dont see how they win with their center still out (he is out isnt he?).

(5 for 6 buying points (buying helped once,but many times it helped my bloodpressure despite the cost of -170))

I change the Cal to Oregon instead. The rest looks fine to me. GL and Aloha CC.

Holy cow arizona State is +2?

that would mean in the tease they would be +12?

I think I'll play that one ATS too - what do you guys think? Can someone give me a reason not to play this even at +2? Hell - buy a few points for insurance but can this lose?

I thought of that but the only relevant team that oregon beat by more than 16 was USC - who Cal beat also...

Using that as a starting point I thought it was safer - do you not agree?

The question is - whats more likely - an oregon win by 17, or IF (I know its a big if) CAL wins they do it by LESS than 4...

My point is that sure Oregon is more likely to win, a LOT more likely. But IF Cal somehow wins the chances of them winning by more than 3 are probably better than the overall chance of oregon winning by more than 16...

Does this make sense or am I experiencing parlysis by analysis?

Then why ask. You have the answers. Told you, analysis by paralysis. Plus you ask people their opinion, then you go ahead and try to discredit them with your own analysis. Next time dont ask, if that is all your going to do is question others opinions. Do you need help or are you into trying to challenge others. I for one am not here to challenge anyone , unless I am outright challenged. Are you doing that? It seems so , don't you agree?

I am sorry you percieve it that way but that is a completely incorrect way to interpret my intentions.

The reason I ask is because I would like to open an honest discussion on the issue. You gave your advice and I declined to take it.


That doesnt mean I dont appreciate your input.

I weight any statements made or facts presented in the course of discussion and use my own judgement to make a decision.

When I ask for opinions I am not looking for someone else to tell me what to do - I am just asking for opinions.

Reasonable people can disagree reasonably and even in the midst of disagreement can still carry on a meaningful discussion sharing facts and insights.

You gave your input by saying you would change cal to oregon. I feel as though I gave you a more than reasonable response as to why I did not agree.

I appreciate your input - it made me look deeper into the game and as a result I am even more comfortable with the selection based on my final analysis.

It may lose - but who cares? I gave it my best shot.
