Classic gambling movie. I loved it when he wanted to bet baseball with his bookie. He took all the home teams in one league and all the road teams in the other league. He didn't even know the teams that were playing or the pitchers. He then wanted the #1 horse in every race at the track. It's a very good movie that doesn't get anywhere near the credit that it should get.
The book the movie is based on is amazing - it describes how he did what he did, and how many times he did it, much more thoroughly. It's hard to come by because it was printed in Canada, but worth it if you can find a copy.
only gamblers like us here can truly appreciate the performance he gave in that role...you have to be a gambler to see just how spot on he was in that movie
