I'll go with the flow, since I do so enjoy seeing doc gone - but IMO, REP is very entertaining and worth keeping.

Smart people don't go around saying "I'm smart". You see, they know that sounds stupid.

Just having fun. I just wish I someone up to my level to debate with in here. You and JoeC have been torn apart. C gold doesn't even know what buying power is and he is an economics major. I had to explain to him that low prices does not equal "good for the economy". And BBlight and others just avoid serious questions with insults. You guys need a new recruit.

Low prices aren't good for consumers?

So when you go out to market, do you go look for the highest prices to buy things? You should be banned from shopping.

If higher prices mean that the people making the product were given benefits and fair wages and it was made by local people, yes indeed I look for the higher price. It all comes full circle eventually, the better those people do, the better I do, the better we all do.:aktion033 I want everyone to live well and prosper, not just a select few.

So you only care about local people? You would never buy something off ebay from somebody in Idaho, Kansas, or Oregon?

What are fair wages?

No wonder you don't understand business.

Local is best. I'd buy something from someone from any state or country on Ebay. That is different. Local economies should stay strong, buy from the person that will eventually buy from you. That is how it should work. With large corporations in the way we are buying from one person and sending all the money to one spot. This person will never recycle the money back to our local businesses.

As for fair wages, there is no set answer for that. It is basically a wage that could be lived on. 8 dollars an hour at a Walmart is not a livable wage. If Walmart wanted to help out the local economy where they were operating they would lower their profits and pay $15 an hour. This would make the local economy thrive because they are putting in decent money. These people would then have the money to shop at locally owned stores and spend the money where it can help. Sending the money to the top is not what makes us all flourish.

Ever heard of the stock market? ( of course you haven't).

Why is a fair wage a wage that can be lived on, and lived on by what person? Giving their employees 15 bucks an hour instead of 8-12 will make the local economy thrive... really?

Do you even understand who owns walmart? Sheesh.

If they ban walmart like your fellow democrats want...

What does that do to the poor hispanic immigrants shopping there? You want the government to choose where to shop for them? To not even let them have a choice?
