I believe the rule of thumb for bowls is: Before Jan 1st play Overs, and after Jan 1st play unders. This might also apply to the 1st half system as well it seems...

Under players end 4-2 for the day. However, 4-2 is equivalent to 4-6. Some tough losses. That last game hurt because we just missed the first half. Oh well, I am sticking to it.

I got lucky and got ASU at 31x then "broke" the rule and
put a half unit on 2H overs so I did a little better

A few weeks ago, I started doing over/over in NBA, NCAAB, NCAAF, and NFL. Haven't been keeping a record, but I am collecting every single week from the man. I only do over/over if I know I am going to be home or around to bet on a bunch of games. We might be on to something here. I have been doing well on NBA through the week.

You are correct. This was the original system. I started with 1h overs last year and stuck with it for all the bowls and did fine. But I think I would have done just a bit better if I had started the 1H unders on New Years day. I would have made the switch but just forgot until after the New Years games and decided to stay with overs for the entire bowl season. Like all have mentioned - it worked out ok going both ways.

Good move Timmy on violating the "rule" on that game. I got caught with a smaller number in the 1H then doubled on the under for the 2H and lost so I am now down 2. I wish 'The Zone" had added his comment on the original rule because this year I started with Under/Under so I am going to stick with it this year. The game tonight does have me worried on the that 1H under but I'll live with the under 34.5.
