OUTLOOK EXPRESS ain't FREE with MS OS??!!

Cripes, I must really be out of touch.

Recently got a notebook pc with XP operating system. No Outlook Express. First new pc I ve had in five years, the otehr two I bought then (win 98)both had the OE mail server packaged in.

So now I have to BUY the email server? Is Netscape still gratis? Or eudora?

It's a email client not server.

Did you get a XP CD with the purchase? If so, you should go control panel - Add and Remove Programs - Add/Remove Windows Components

or

if I can recommend Pocomail or Barca. www.pocosystems.com. Nice interface and easy to use.

No, it's a dell notebook, they don't give you the cd, but a boot backup.

I'll try the one you suggest.
