Why is it that the least educated and informed American is usually the most vocal. This whole we are the greatest in the world thing has really gone to a lot of their heads. As outsiders we see it and find it rather comical. Outandup all filled with patriotism and bravado. Save it for your mom at least she'll act impressed by it.
I can't name a country that has done more evil, either.
I think the problem with the US is that they've taken from many parts, many cultures. Much of this has been pure exploitation by way of "consentual" agreements and treaties. And yet we refuse to acknowledge these as playing any role in our rise to "empire". We admit that all empires but our own are made off of the ashes of the weak, the exploitation of the weak by the strong.
Namely, we still see ourselves as "good". We are not "good".
Sure, the US is the only remaining superpower. But size and strength does not mean we're always correct. We need to recapture the modesty that marked previous generations, hubris and arrogance can do nothing but bring about a more expedient demise.

so all the murdering of woman and children is okay then. Canada got involved in both WW1 and WW2 well before the U.S. did so blow it out your ass outandup and go back to school. Uganda over half a million slaughered no American involvement, Cambodia same thing and the list goes on and on. Do you think theres no starvation in the world because of the U.S. or something.

That being said, Russia loses without the US. No doubt about it.
My point is the US won WW2 and the mainland US had not been attack by Germany. No country would have come to our aid like we did for those ungreatful euro's and frenchies.

Are you saying the ends justifies all means. This is why your stupid out and up. You think if the U.S. has the richest man in the world all Americans are rich. You think if the U.S. has the smartest man in the world all Americans are smart. You think that because America has sent some financial aid to poor countries it wipes out all the atrosoties they have commited. Your a prime example that these things don't rub off onto the average American schlock.

I like countries that have a good saftey net for their poor, that have medical coverage for everyone not just those that can afford it, I like safe, clean streets, affordable education for all, equal legal representaion regardless of income or status and the list goes on and on. So Enron and O.J. Simpson to you. Start thinking for yourself you sheep.
