Oklahoma QB Justice Hansen, who has not taken a snap, has decided to leave OU. He was signed in 2014. No reason was given for his decision. This cannot be good news for OU and Bob Stoops.

Don't know anything about the OU QB race. It's always a hit to lose a good recruit at QB because talent pushes talent. However, only 1 qb gets on the field at a time. This isnt the same as losing a 4 star DT.

It is losing a recruit, and that can never be good for any team, especially one struggling with it's recruitment program.

Buried at 3rd on the depth chart behind a sophomore and freshman. No surprise here. Oklahoma is coming off back to back top 15 classes. They ain't struggling. You are just trolling. Get a job or a girlfriend bruh

Kendall coming in next year is one of the best pro style QB in years. Most blueblood schools like Oklahoma have multiple 4 stars on the roster they come and go. i bet Tennessee has had more 4 stats qb transfer out in the past 10 years than Oregon has signed in rheir schools history. They are a dime a dozen for the big boys. Stoops knows a thing or two about QBs

Justice will probably end up at a second rate program like the pac12 or Pittsburgh

How's that worked out for you?

Oregon seemed to do just fine with 3* QB's against your Vols in that 10 year span if I recall.

I already mentioned this yesterday in the Oklahoma thread. So BD is a dollar short and a day late...literally. Russ, I agree about the QB position. The player that I think could be the best of the bunch is Cody Thomas. He was actually a higher rated QB than Hansen coming out of HS, which made me wonder why Hansen picked OU in the first place.. If Mayfield doesn't come through, I'm hearing that Thomas could be starting this season over Knight. Maybe Hansen saw the writing on the wall..

Yup. Exactly. So what's the point of creating a thread about a 3rd string transferring that's never taken a snap?

hey GS.... i remember during the Bama Cornwell recruiting that you said they weren't going for him because of another recruit. Was it this guy that is transferring or Cody Thomas or someone else?

It was Hansen. His transfer might have something to do with OU going to a different offensive scheme since recruiting him. But that's just a guess. He actually had a pretty good spring game. But I don't put a lot of weight into spring games.

Isn't the Oklahoma State QB transferring also?
Yeah, BigDaddy neglected to bring this one up. I think Daxx Garman leaving hurts OSU is a much bigger deal than Hansen leaving OU. Garman at least started some games last year after Walsh was hurt. After Walsh came back from injury he had lost his job to Garman. So OSU is hurting as far as quality depth at QB.

Garman was not very good at Okie State. He finally lost the starting job there when his team had scored 33 points in three conference losses. His loss may be bigger than Hansen, though I doubt it. The bottom line is that players are leaving the Okie schools. If this is a trend, perhaps these schools should find out why? If it has to do with playing time, then these schools had better review their recruiting policies.

I don't know why I took you off ignore. For that stupid statement go sit in the corner. Your obsession with the Big 12 is strange. You need to remove the knee pads, wipe your chin, and let's move on...

I was going to mention to him that OU hasn't been out of the top 15 in Rivals recruiting in 15 years, but so much of the other shite he said was wrong that it was pointless to even bring this up. I doubt this dude even has Google on his $50 coal burning computer. He probably still pays for his groceries with checks.
