Lambier for sure, and for football, Hardy Nickerson. Aa a Buc fan, I'll always love the man for what he brought and helped build, but he was dirty. In the 1997 home opener for the Bucs, Nickerson slid and nailed Steve Young with his knee , slightly after the whistle, knocking him out of the game. No penalty if I recall, but I had a good shot of the field, and he could have held up, imo.Cheap. (of course, as a Buc fan, it didn't bother me to see Jeff Brohm trotting onto the field to replace Young :>Grin>) Sapp grabbed Rice's facemask in that game, which ended Rice's season, although it was clear 99 wasn't trying to hurt anyone. But I'm sure Hardy's play was. Hardy also spit in William Floyd's face one year. Hell of a player when he was here though.
And for any oldtimers, anyone remember the old ABA? I always thought Billy Paultz was a punk. I mainly remember him with the Nets. Was a KY Colonel fan, and those guys had some games.
Cool topic.
