The wife and I decided to not do gifts a few years ago. Our anniversary is right around Christmas and we go all out for that. Instead we go pick a kid from the Angel Tree and hook the kid up with some cool shit. Not to thump my own chest or anything, but it does feel good to give to a kid that is in need instead of buying my wife a $600 purse.
Hahaha. We bought this kid last year all kinds of shit. Wound up spending around $300 on the kid. Got him a pair of J's, a PSP and a bunch of sports stuff. Just hope his parents didn't sell the PSP and Jordans to get money. Heard this is becoming a HUGE problem for these kids getting electronics and shit.
Speaking of, here in our local town someone stole like 30K worth of toys being held for special needs kids. How fucking sorry do you have to be to do that. My wifes TV station is trying to take money to replace them all but it is going to be tough being so close to Christmas. Whoever stole the toys from special needs kids needs to have a bullet in the brain.
a dark chocolate bar of the month club membership.. a new fancy dark chocolate bars form around the world..gift each month...google it and you will find a couple choices..you can pick different amounts to arrive each month so if you want to join in or others in the family you can get small, med, large or petite and pay different amounts..pretty cool..other great option is bubble Bath of the Month club..same idea..stuff from around the world each month..google that a few choices....buy one you self before Christmas and make a hand made certificate explain the real 12 month gift..works well..
